I'm so glad that you liked this one, too. I know that canon James was written as being cruel but then that was really all Severus' POV. I figure there must be a reason even at 16 why the other three boys are so devoted to him and that's what I'm trying to show. Besides Sirius would have had to learn how to be affectionate from someone ahaha
