Lovely, just lovely. Remus teaching the first years self-defense, James and Lily's plotting finally coming to fruition, cupboard cuddling, all of it. I fully expected it to be really good, and I was totally affirmed by the time I reached this sentence:
"I won't go if you don't want me to," he said plainly--evenly--feeling no uncertainty, not like he had when he was younger. That was gone.
