I haven't read a Remus/Sirius fic for months now, and I have to say this is a really refreshing fic. I find that a lot of what is being written in the R/S fandom has been done excessively, over and over, without really changing. It felt all the same. BUT THIS. I loved how cautious Sirius was about approaching Remus, a bit like a child who has never made a friend before. It's so clear Sirius has never honest socialized, or be himself when socializing, that it was a little painful to read, but soooo good. And Remus, listening to Sirius play, eyes closed. It seems so- thoughtless, like he didn't mean to but couldn't help himself. Like he was drawn to it.
