Deleted two massive paragraph about work because even I don't care anymore. Work sucks. Wish I was independently wealthy.
Outside of work, I've watched a lot of Emergency! this week, read all the fic to be had on AO3, which is not much. Ventured onto fanfic.net and then back away really quickly. It's like the good news is that the show is practically one long h/c fic and it spawned a ton of that, which I love, but I don't want to dig through the bad to find the gems. Essentially what I'm saying is that I'm lazy. I need a recs list but...you know. The show is nearly 40 years old and wasn't particularly popular even back then. It sounds like a lot of work. I'm planning to do a rewatch of Suits this weekend. Another tiny fandom but Harvey. Luckily, I don't mind rereading my favorites there. And Laura posted fic this week and there's hp_beholder fic to read, though I'm mostly saving those for travel.
My poor MacBook is on her last legs. It's the saddest thing ever. She's quite old...seven this year, I think? And still running on her original operating system (because I am the lamest). She hates videos and LJ comments, isn't fond of some sites at all. Everything makes her tiny fan run hard. I keep doing back ups because I expect her wee feet to turn upwards at any moment. I'll absolutely get another MacBook when she goes but I like MacGonagall.
Dinner! What are we doing this weekend? I wants to know! I'm planning a mani/pedicure in the morning and then cleaning up and getting ready to travel. I have a couple of books I want to finish up, too, and yoga classes to attend. With luck writing because that'd be super awesome.
