I'm at a conference far from my Star Wars Legos Wii game and feeling lonely without Legos Han Solo and, strangely incompetent at my job. I'm still sorting that last out. Anyway, sessions alllll day tomorrow and Tuesday, and a two hour long thing (half business meeting, half lecture with, I suspect, a dreaded motivational speaker, and a reception after that's making me feel queasy just thinking about it. Socializing! With People!! *wilts*)

Anyway. YOU can save me! Yes, YOU! Meme me.

1.) Give me a pairing (Any from HP, Lotrips, LotR, or The Hobbit)
2.) Give me an AU setting.
3.) I will write you a three-sentence fic.

Three sentences I can totally write in the margins whilst taking other notes. This could work!

"You're mad as a hatter," Remus declared as he banished the ropes tying Sirius to the stake in the middle of what might have been his own pyre had Remus been less adept (and less inclined) to cast a rather precisely timed freezing charm just as the timbers had been lit, and scourgified the ashes from his robes. "Conjuring dragons to scare off the villagers isn't as easy as it looks; I don't know why you persist."

"The trials are rather a bore, I'll grant you," Sirius laughed as he rubbed his wrists and then turned to the business of tidying up as he continued, his eyes twinkling as he considered any of the 12 times he's been burned at the stake for being a wizard, "but the burnings are nice, and the Muggles seem to enjoy it as well; they do so seem to like a good conflagration."


I think I outstretched the boundaries of decent punctuation here :D
