I'm cheating on my chiropractor but I'm on the good meds now so I'm feeling very little guilt. Pain free for the first time in a week and a half ftw. Bless her heart, she is trying and she's so clearly committed to what she's doing, and she honestly believes that she's got the solution for me, but I'm not sold. And also, I needed to sleep for a full night, which I'm hoping to do tonight. Also again, she suspected that I might have had a UTI (spoiler alert: I didn't) and her recommendation was to drink a bottle of apple cider vinegar in 24 hours. So much no. In fact, there's not enough no in the world though the internet promises me it's a thing. I would have been pissed (no pun intended) if I'd followed her advice and discovered it wasn't an infection. and I love vinegar. It's one of my favorite flavors in, you know, orange chicken or lovely pickled whatevers.
I watched the new Project Runway during lunch today. I'm giving it the side eye. I should have watched Suits instead but after reading a summary, I was afraid I'd have too many feels to be surrounded by office supplies whilst watching for the first time. Also, I get a lot of calls, as I did today, twice from my mentor in the span of an hour, and she's not a fan of brevity. I would have been all "mmmhmmm? yeah? oh really? I'll get right on that" while watching the show in the background.
Anyway, I could pause PR as I'm way less invested at least for the moment. Team projects! I actually like the idea. I thought the right person got tossed, too, because that thing she made was terrible, though funeral director woman...I'm not sure what that was? I was actually kinda hoping she'd turn out something good, too, because she spoke so passionately in the beginning. It was just awful, though. Clearly I remember no one's name. I didn't even know the show was going to start this week. I was on hulu to find something adequately awful to get me through lunch and was excited to see it. I was happy with the end of Project Runway All-Stars, too. I was a big fan of Anthony Ryan during his season and was sad when he was sent home, so I was glad he won. I wasn't in love with any of the collections but I almost never am.
To bed, I suppose. My big plans for this weekend are to nap :D and to write. I started a Suits in Space story that I want to finish for the
harlequinbbang and I have about 101 WIPs that I need to work on, too.
