I feel like I have to mention...

...in light of my doom and gloom post of the other day, I actually had a really nice weekend, mostly spent cleaning All the Things, which is what made it nice, I think. Problems aren't magically solved and I'm still dealing with some low level (and constant) anxiety (and by dealing, I mean actively avoiding acknowledging it because it's pretty non-directional and more of the "oh noes don't leave the house because bad things can happen" variety. The thing is, if I stay home, it goes in the other direction and becomes "oh noes you're in the house there could be a home invasion". Thanks brain for essentially making no place safe.)

Sooooo, spring cleaning. It's meant to be in the 80s this week, which I'm really freaking excited about. I hate being cold and wearing closed toe shoes and socks (I really hate socks). I'm wearing sandals today, and I've accessorized :D which is a big step for me, who barely managed clothes most of the winter that weren't fleece lined or shapeless blobs of gray or black. Okay, I'm wearing gray today but with an adorbs magenta cardigan and sandals. Did I mention the sandals?

Also, I'm listening to Jack Johnson, which is a particularly spring-like thing to do, yeah? Apparently he's popular with the kids these days? At least he was with my 15 year old sister and her friends. I liked him back when he was making surfing movies. Of course, this means I'm up to the J's in my Great iTunes Relisten of 2013, which I started on January 29. The J's are great! Jack Johnson, Jack White (all the Jacks), Jakob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, Janis Joplin, Joan Jett, Jimmy Dorsey.

I'm at work now and none of our reports ran over the weekend, so I'm pretty much twiddling my thumbs over here whilst waiting for them to run manually. Technically I have something I could be working on but it's dreadfully dull. I think I might pretend it doesn't exist and work on a story I started this weekend, which I didn't mean to do because I had something else to work on instead, but Donna! from Suits! I picked up a prompt for the Rare Women Fic Exchange as a treat. I have an idea for Madeline from Burn Notice, too, and I was considering writing one for Rachel from Suits, too, since I had complained about not liking her (so I think that I need to find my happy with her because after long thought, I think my reasons are a bit snobbish). Anyway, I suppose I should do something rather than pouring my thoughts out here :D
