Home with a cold, watching LotR and making all sorts of plans for the new year. Writing has been a true struggle since the beginning of November. Not sure what's up with that. As a (very dubious) cure, I signed up for harlequinbbang. Actually, I signed up ages ago but sort of forgot about it. I mostly signed up because I thought the banners were funny (and still do), which perhaps wasn't the best reasoning but there you go. Anyway, you should totally sign up, too.

Also, I'm putting this here so that I feel as though the deadlines are real. I want to complete all my WIPs before I start grad school in the fall (and then likely start new ones).

01) Laura's gift. it's totally a secret. at least xx words deadline: December 17

02) Slashababy. it's totally a secret, too. at least 1000 words deadline: December 26

03) hurt/comfort bingo. at least 20,000 to 40,000 words (20 prompts left) (or 2000 to 4000 to just do one line, which is more likely) deadline: January 3

04) These Four Kings. Finish year 7 (seven chapters) and Leaving Hogwarts (four chapters) to begin posting on (deadline) Tuesdays, January 8 through March 18

05) Castlesque Mike/Harvey Finish 10 chapters to begin posting on (deadline) Thursdays, January 10 through March 14

06) harlequinbbang (Mike/Harvey) 15,000 words baseball/journalist draft deadline: March 8 / final deadline April 5

07) In the Sun (Remus/Sirius) part 3 and epilogue to post on (deadline) March 25 and March 26

08) Incline of Trees need to work this one out with L.

lol those ARE pretty funny banners. I'm a little bit tempted because it looks like it could be so ridiculous and fun to do something so silly, but the timeline..... ehhhh I'd better not. I'm trying to work on some projects that are unfinished already.

Good luck on all your writing goals! I like that you put actual deadlines for them. I should do that too.... it makes it feel more concrete.

I still need to read These Four Kings... it looks so interesting.
